Delhi Weekend Traffic Courts commence from Sunday, July 5, 2026.

  • Court Schedule: Every Sunday and Second Saturday of each month

What is Delhi Weekend Traffic Court?

The Delhi Weekend Traffic Court (WTC) is a special traffic court initiative introduced by the Delhi District Courts across Delhi from 5 July 2026 to help motorists dispose of eligible compoundable traffic challans on weekends. It functions alongside Virtual Courts, Evening Courts, Lok Adalats, and regular Traffic Courts, making it easier for vehicle owners to resolve eligible challans without visiting court on working days.

The initiative aims to reduce the growing backlog of traffic cases while making it easier for working citizens to resolve eligible challans on weekends.

What Happens at the Weekend Traffic Court?

1. Appointment Verification

Court staff verify your appointment slip and identity.

3. Court Hearing

The Judicial Magistrate hears the matter and disposes of eligible challans in accordance with the Motor Vehicles Act.

4. Fine Payment
