Delhi Special Traffic Lok Adalat Announced for 12 July 2026
The Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA), under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), will hold a Special Lok Adalat, also known as the 'Samadhan Samaroh', on 12 July, 2026 across all Delhi district court complexes. The initiative gives motorists an opportunity to settle eligible compoundable traffic challans through mutual consent.
However, there's one crucial step you cannot miss.
To appear before the Special Lok Adalat, you must first download your challan slip. The download window opens today (6 July, 2026) and only 50,000 challan slips will be available each day from 10 AM.
With an overall limit of 2 lakh challans, motorists are advised not to wait until the last minute.
Your challan slip will specify your court complex, court number, and reporting time, and you must appear only at the court mentioned on the slip. Note: This announcement has been verified using the official notification issued by the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA).

To participate in the Special Traffic Lok Adalat in Delhi, you must carry all necessary documents for verification and case processing. Ensure you have both originals and clear physical copies of the following:

How to Download Your Challan Slip & Book Special Lok Adalat Appointment
Follow these steps to book your appointment through the Digital Traffic Lok Adalat Portal.
Step 1: Open the Portal
Visit the Digital Traffic Lok Adalat Portal and enter your vehicle registration number and the displayed CAPTCHA. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number linked to your vehicle. If your mobile number is not registered, update it before proceeding.
Step 2: Verify & Select Challans
After OTP verification, all eligible pending challans and notices will be displayed. Select the challan(s) you wish to settle.
Step 3: Choose Court & Time Slot
Select your preferred Delhi District Court, choose an available forenoon or afternoon slot, accept the undertaking, and submit your appointment request.
Step 4: Print Your Appointment Slip
After successful booking, click Print to download your challan slip and appointment confirmation. Carry a printed copy when visiting the Lok Adalat. Digital copies may not be accepted.
Step 5: Visit the Court
Report to the court mentioned on your appointment slip with all the required documents. Your court number, reporting time, and venue will be printed on the appointment slip.
Important
- Private vehicle owners can print up to 5 notices and 2 challans per appointment.
- Commercial vehicle owners can print 1 notice and 1 challan (fine amount below ₹10,000).
- Only compoundable challans/notices are eligible.
- If you miss your appointment, you must book a fresh appointment for the next Lok Adalat.
